Ross has gone back to PGL so I have started tidying up my craft room and have set up my laptop there and aim to set up my new scanner next to it so that I can start scanning in all my mother's old slides and turn them into digital photos - i think it will be a huge job.
I finished this DLO that I started at the crop - you know some layouts just work and you love them - well I don't think this one works - I don't know why - perhaps the odd green colour - but I am not particulary fond of these 2. I think it may also be a huge variation in the colours from the photos - they don't seem to be similar - so the brain is being bamboozelled with too much information. Perhaps I should have turned the photos to B & W
I have also finished this layout that I statred about 4 weeks ago at a Scrapz instructiob class on Bazzill institches. This was done using Bazzill already perforated cardstock and I just stitched around the stars - again - I don't particulary love this layout either! Will try using some of the other templates on a layout and see if I can improve on some other layouts!
These layouts have taken my target up to 37 already!
We have a busy weekend planned - up to Sheffield today to see Jessica - she is swimming in a gala there and has missed us all so much that she can't wait for Easter to see us. Then Sunday, off to Oxford for the day - Liam and Howard have tickets for a concrt - but can't get back - they were going to sleep on the railway station again ( like they did in Manchester!!) but its not a good idea so Steven said we could go down for the day and bring them back. It will be quite nice to spend the day there again - but So its going to be a busy weekend and no scrapping done.

I, too, have a huge box of old photos I want to scan in but when I will find the time I have no idea!
Thanks for your tip on my blog re the google tracker, I really should do that!
