I am really pleased with the patterened papers used here - they are the free ones from this month's scrapbook inspirations mag. I have never used the free papers before - but I used these also last week with the sleep over layout. They are from Junkitz called celebration. never used any Junkitz papers before - so will have a look at some of their other papers.
I am also very pleased with the large celebrate! rub on. That is from karen Foster and is just gorgeous to use - unlike some rub ons. I have 2 more of hers in the drawer - princess and fabulous - can't think how I am going to use them yet - but I really will try.
This is the first time I have used the doodling stencil and am pleased with it - but I am not so pleased with the white pen- it is far too pale. it is an American crafts one - I did try a gel pen which goes on clear and dries a brighter white but that this ran & smudged everywhere so I could not use it.
When I was a craft central yesterday (Collecting some page protectors I had ordered - they are like gold dust) saw they had a very good selection of pens so will take some black card next time Igo and try the white ones out.
I am getting a bit fed up with scrapping old photos which I cannot do much with - so want to try and scrap some of Jessica's from Uni and then I can resize them etc. However big disater last night when Jess was out with her friends. She had taken her camera to take some photos but Claire did not like one of her so deleated it and at the same time pressed 'deleate all' so most of Jessica's year at Uni disapered in a flash before they could switch the camera off and save the last few. I had not transferred all her photos on to my laptop yet and her laptop was collected yesterday to have her dyslexia software put on - they could not garuntee that they would not loose any stuff on her laptop. So if those on the laptop are wiped and only a few remain on the camera - I will not have a lot to scrap with and jess will be a very unhappy bunny. I may have to invest in some photo recovery software. 'Don't panic' is sometimes cheap in the QVc shop - will have to try there tomorrow.
