Just returned from water aerobics and I actually liked it - it was tough going but I could keep up - so think I will sign up for these classes only. Trouble is there are only a few and always seem full. The class was full of old ladies with grey hair and as I was huffing and puffing and they were not, I am clearly very out of shape!
Did the easy rider class the other day - hell on earth - never again!!!! Richard said that the spinning class would be too much for me so to try this one, as it went at a gentle pace- I don't think the instructor knew what easy pace was - the sweat was dripping off everyone. He had people standing up and sitting down and going faster & slower - well I tried to stand and came over all travel sick again so just spent the whole class cycling gently at my own pace and feeling very stupid.
I met Richard afterwards and asked him to add the cycle to my gym work out so he showed me what to do and now I have 30 minutes on the bike and 30 minutes on the cross trainer plus my weights, so I think I will just stick to that for now until I build up my fitness levels.
