Miss Breslin's retirement do

I had the most wonderful evening celebrating Miss Breslin's retirement at the New Meadow football ground. There was about 150 people there and it was lovely to see so many old faces. I had planned to take photographs of everyone there and
then make her a lovely memory book but the evening was so hectic that
I only got half the people there so cannot do a book now - which is a shame
.

The food was just wonderful and I did not want to be a party pooper by being a diet bore so I had to eat all 3 courses! I had soup and croutons to start, then roast turkey with all the trimmings. It tasted so much nicer than my Christmas dinners and then Christmas pudding and rum sauce for pudding - I did turn down the mince pies though!

The scan girls did a fantastic turn by dressing up and wrote a song which everyone joined in with the chorus. Mr Reed & Mr Redford spoke beautifully about her and she in turn did a talk in her fantastic entertaining way and the evening whizzed by far too fast.
