We drove down to Hemel Hempstead today to stay with my sister overnight before heading into London tomorrow. We went for a lovely walk along the Grand Union canal and there were lots of conker tress about - shedding their lovely fruit. So today's photo is another Autumnal photo. We used to have lots of Conkers in the house when the children were little as they loved collecting them - but they are all too grown up for that now - so just photographed these and left them where they were.

LOL Deb, this is so funny that we should both post almost identical photos. Your conkers look far more shiny than mine though - think mine had been lying around longer.
I love conkers! I love the shiny texture, and the gorgeous brown colour! But they don't stay like that for long do they? They very quickly go dull.
