6th March photo.
Today Moyra and I went out walking. So I have chosen a photo of her at the top of Ragleth hill as my POTD.
We visited 3 places - First of all Wenlock Edge. This is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is well known to geologists the world over because of the many layers of exposed sedimentary rock. Moyra's daughter has found many fossils here.
Another sign post! - I could make up the whole of this month's photos with sign posts if I am not careful.
Apart from the wonderful rock formations and fabulous views over Shropshire, there are a couple of sculptures which we had to visit to get the answers for the Earth geocache.
After this we drove to Ragleth Hill- part of the Stretton Hill that I have not visited and found the geocache there. It was very windy up on the top. This was Moyra's first geocache so thankfully it was an easy one to find.
After lunch we drove to Shipton for our final walk. This was a lovely walk and gave us views over Brown Clee (the highest summit in Shropshire ) - I have yet to conquer it!
This is Brown Clee in the background!
