This sculpture is to be found on the Column roundabout and I drive past it each day and admire its lovely sleek lines. I think initially it was a Millennium commission and when they went to remove it at the end of 2000 - there were lots of protests and so thankfully it stayed put.

Unusual sculpture - is it supposed to depict anything in particular?
I really don't know Karen. Perhaps I should find out!
I love coming across unusual pieces like this. I do love old things that have been preserved, but I love the bits that are going to be the history of the future.
